To be completely honest the whole bashing thing you all do everytime someone post something you dont like is fukin stupid.... and if you wanna talk about trendy think about this...

1. not too many companies make body kits, parts etc for our cars- therefore we all have the same thing - TRENDY
2. most mazda owners are riding on 17"s - therefore your all doing it- TRENDY
3. most of you are trying to be "JDM" when most of the stuff youre doing isnt - most of you all doing it - TRENDY

some of us come to the point where we dont wanna be like anyone else so we do things such as - bigger wheels, custom dashes, custom guage locations, fabricated body kits, ragtops, and not trying to sport the MP5, mazdaspeed or mp3 as a racecar because in all honesty the cars arent really that fast....

Driving a Mazda: Trendy, almost everyone on this board has one.
Changing your oil: Trendy for most, although we have some winners on this board that probably have never changed it for 8,000 miles- TRENDY
Putting 20s on a economy sedan: all the cool show cars do it, and i want to look cool too: TRENDY
LCD screen in the trunk: Yeah, no one can use it, really. Its just what the show people do, and its cool. Trendy.

lets just agree that all cars and the wheels they ride on are trendy.
the show scene is also trendy, making your car look different is very very trendy. see where im going with this?

Here's the deal - if somebody wastes money on a mod that is (a) impractical (b) looks like complete ass (c) tries to play it off as being 'different' (news flash! it's not) people are going to make fun of it! Because it deserves it.
