anyone have a good amount of mileage on their P5 (60K or more). and how's it holding up (paint etc).
I only have 25- I'z just wondering.

I've got 71,000+ Paint seems to be hold up fine, but I did blow a motor because it was burning oil and I didn't realize I was 2qts low.

I have an 02 p5 with 92,000 miles. I have had the oil changes done every 3000 miles and had new tires put on about 10,000 miles ago. It is a 5 spd. I do notice the clutch is a little loose. I think I will be due for a new clutch in the next 10,000 miles but that will come after my stripper turbo that will hopefully be on my car in the next 2 to 3 months. I love my car if I did not it would have been gone and I would not have decided to go turbo. (laugh)

I had 76,000 miles, motor was starting to knock so I bought an Si. I changed the oil on time, used synthetic and never let it run low on oil....still didn't matter....peice of s***.

^ quit crying.......and let me know when you want to get spanked by an MSP :D

Ill run you on 8psi like i did your buddy.

i had 68k virtually trouble free miles when i traded it in. the only issue was the clutch chatter which was taken care of at 23k. it did everything i asked it to do and got 31mpg on top of it. i changed the oil every 5k, didn't rotate the tires for 15k miles and still got 45k on the stock dunlops. i couldn't have asked for more, except awd and turbo.

i just hit 47500 miles yesterday, after a nice complete wax job. damn thing still looks sharp. no complaints outside of the paint. I have some pretty significant fading on the front and rear bumper, but I'm going to blame that on the previous owner. i'm sure he wasn't entirely at fault though, as we all have our complaints on mazda's substandard paint jobs.

I don't think 8psi is stock is it? More like 6psi...but sure Ill race. :)

im nearing 60k and i still love it. I do need an alignment and my acessory belt is squeeking. but i still ****** love it. needs a wax too.

I'll hit 90K by the end of the week. Everything has held up great, but the hood and front bumper need paint bad(rocks).

60,531 miles on my baby....paint is garbage, and there are a few little squeeks that i need to have looked at, but other than that I am in love with it and I'm going to drive it till it dont drive no more.

man, i wish i knew how some of you get these high numbers with the SP5000's.....??????

i turned 50K on sunday and have had no trouble except EGR valve as a TSB. have done front brakes, have to do the rear soon, rotors all around, a set of SP5000's off another member with under 500 miles on them, oil changes (synthetic) every 7K +-, tranny fluid change at 30K (synthetic), CM clutch/fidanza flywheel at 30K (stock clutch was fine when changed).......

car has been great....just wish it has more "balls"......will hold on to her for some time now, since i am buying a new house.....

i drove like a grandma, for the most part.

it does seem like the wrx is one of the more common transitions from the p5.

i am at 33,000 miles ...... but abt 15000 have been boosting 12-15 psi on a stock motor...... besides blowing turbo's everything is good. my clutch hates me but still will spin 3rd gear. once somthing goes i will go built but for now i can't complain. oh i did have 1 really annoying problem(expensive too) my car is lowered all the way down on ground control coilovers and somehow i hit a bump hard and knocked my ecu relay in the main fuse block loose and my car died!! after like 700 dollars i figured out what was wrong. besides that i cant complain!!
and i still get over 400 miles to a tank on the highway so i cant b**** too much
