Mods on the cheap

i know it's off topic, so, sorry, but... JPB-Pro5 i noticed you have s-techs on stock shocks, hows the ride?
let's see....
clear markers...i think they were $20
sls rings - under $30
tribute squirters - under $15
CX-7 antenna - $15
cargo net - free from local mazda dealer (it was sitting in the parts room collecting dust from a trade in)
*@#%!! dent in fender from a hit and leave driver in parking lot - $500 (not fixed yet
)
and pro5x2.....very clean ride (thumb)

1st mod on the cheap I did was this
Fogs/Drl mod = 20$ (connectors + switch)
2nd cheap thing i've done is
Poor's man intake = 15$ (abs pipes)
Other mods includes
Tinted windows = free (asked for them when I bought the car)

Did the fog always on mod tonight and added some whit(ish) xenon fog bulbs. Cheap and easy. Fog lights were only $20
Then, just picked up the cx7 antenna for $15 bucks at www.onlinemazdaparts.com (free plug!) and a cover for my jack for about $15 as well. (didn't come with it, bought used) so that was two cool mods for $30.

Tight! It's night and day. Can take turns so much better, and when you drop the hammer it doesn't lurch back, stays stiff. Also def more feed back from the road. One thing though when I first got them my original dunflop tires couldn't handle the increased pressure and the sidewalls would roll in the turns. Bought new dunlop direzza's which are a way better tire, but actually cheaper than OEM. Now this car rocks!! End of thread jack...(cabpatch)
Wow! Been away from the computer all weekend, and, this thread took off!! Very nice all!! Figured this could be a good place for anybody that has the mod-bug, but minimal bank to back it.

Have you got a pic of the painted grill? I might be intrested in this. After looking around, it's the same grille we have, just color matched? I'd rather pickup a can of colormatch'd blue and DIY

Ya thats what I was talking about... It looks like your bumper tips by the grill are pushed in.
