Mods on the cheap

I just did the tribute nozzles today and they're great. It doesn't matter that they don't cover the lower corner, because the wipers just spread the water over anyway. Besides, the coverage is still way better than the stock piss streams.

that wont break it? i thought u had to take the thing out that u adjust the heat and cold with first, did ur way work for u?

Hmm, I don't remember ever having taken off the climate control stuff. Anyone know for sure?

If it's freezing, run the heater a while to warm up the inside of the car adn the plastic, or wait till a hot day. Point vents down, grab lip and pull straigh out. The A/C controls are connected to it from the rear with screws, the hazard switch wiring needs to be unclipped, then you can rotate the cover downward to get to the climate control.

Or, go under the dash and remove the climate control wires from their places adn the center console will slide all the way out, then you can very easily screw the control box off.

yeah man, the rear valance looks good. not bad for a free mod if you already had the paint and paper! : )

Tinted my sidemarkers and tails with light coats of nightshade, to keep showing the colors (amber and red).

Pics tomorrow!

FishdontBounce vinyl eyelids $20

and looking into the stock intake mod as well.

guess that buying 2 stock 03 rims for $200 isn't a mod, but not bad on the price since I wanted to keep the stock wheels without the wobble in one and the rash on the other.

yup, love em. PM fishdontbounce to get em. He can usually be found in one of the P5 threads, but is always in the PA, NJ, DE owners thread as well.
They are made out of vinyl, are easy to apply, match the color of my car perfectly and are cheap enough that I'll just order more from him if I mess em up. $20 which includes shipping worked for me.

$200 for two wheels...that is a CRAZY price...and by that I mean terrible price...

wire tucks are cheap.

You just need some electrical tape and some innovation. Maybe some new vaccum hoses depending. Just depends on how far you want to take it.

Yep...there is a set of 4 local to me with new tires for $150...

Yeah maybe but Im happy with em. they are good as new with no scuff scratches or rash. so I have all 4 looking brand new. I looked around on here and ebay and they ALL had rash and the shipping sucked. the price I said included everything so with that the price was much less.
