Mods for auto 03 P5 ?

Just trying to help the guy out by offering him some new choices!! Apparently a turbo is the only way to go with these cars....:rolleyes:
 
You can spend 4gs on a NA setup and achieve around 150-160whp or you can buy a turbo and spend the rest on a new tranny after you blow it up or you can PM matty.

Well it's an auto and the turbo will kill it...

Yo! I'm back. I thought about it some more and figure a good N/A set up just like mine but add lightweight seats, cf hood, and really light rims. I went with 17in rims and they weigh the same as stock, they look nicer and I have wider, stickier tread. I can't figure how to put a pic of my ride on my signature, I tried for about an hour last night. Anyway that setup will be reliable and look really hot with the seats and stuff. That's actually what my plan of attack is for my ride. I've got about 7 or 8k (cdn)to play with yet, so I'm actually laying low till spring and learning more about this import stuff! Anyhow, good luck and I will keep trying to post a pic of my ride! Don't forget to add to my rep!
 
go to upload pictures and upload the picture

copy the address for the picture to your profile and place the img code before and after..

turbo at 4-5psi. you'll kill all or most ricers, and it won't significantly damage the long term reliability of your engine. get a tranny cooler and temp gauge along with the standard turbo accesories and you should be golden.

yeah, turbo's often infect their owners with the "boost bug". You've gotta come up with someway to make it more difficult to increase the boost....like requiring some handtools and 30 minutes would be enough to make people think about what they're doing,.

with that kind of money....just swap in the msp motor/tranny/ecu and then upgrade the turbo with either the hi-boost set up or one of MAM's kits.

Thats WAY redundant. If you were to go with a HiBoost kit you wouldn't need the msp engine or ecu....then only benefit would be the differential and axles.
 
i have a kit on ebay and i think your the man to buy it. If you do some valve bodies upgrade and some other s*** your auto could go a long way.
