I think I should get rid of the black tape on the small window in the back as well? what do you guys think?

Ionno man... it looks funny to me... cuz underneath the windows its still black, and the back window has that black strip... i dont think that is tape, i think its painted, so ionno... i thinkk imma leave mine the way it is... just doesn't look right to me, but whatever floats ur boat. ^_^

yea that part of the window in the back does not have tape. I used a razor on the edge and it did nothing.....so hmmm I guess I might get it painted when I get the windows tinted....any other comments welcomed!

(mswerd) Now that you took it off you could see the weather stripping and all the black trim. I think it was black for a reason, to give it a clean look without seeing all the weather stripping. But if you like it thats cool.

And I would leave the little bar on the back widow black if you are going to tint the windows.If I was going to tint the windows,I would have left it ALL black.It would have flowed soo much better IMO.

I'm partial to it actually....I don't like nor dislike it. I wanted to post pics for people and figured it was a quick project.... hopefully it grows on me.

if anything I'll get the weatherstripping on the back windows painted after I get tints....someone photoshop what that piece would look like painted and my windows tinted....that is if you don't mind.

Thanks! I like it! I think it would look great with some dark tints! hmmm this may very well grow on me.....my fingers are killing me from peeling back all that tape..lol

They did paint it. What they did is actually better because I (like many others) think the black tape would look better with tinted windows. Since I'm not tinting mine, I may remove the tape (so Mazda has pleased both types of people this way).

Not true, My 2002 Yellow P5 is painted black, and a co-workers 2002.5 Yellow P5 has stickers. But this is in the MSP section for some ODD reason so your statement is true.
