Mazda3i Stalling Problem?!

subcrizzle for lemon law

Well, I'm sorry to say but my 3 is going back in yet AGAIN for stalling (blowjob) ! Oh, what fun! As for the whole Lemon Law stuff, we still haven't heard anything from Mazda. But that's alright, cause once all this crap with our 3 is over and done with we are going to be moving to the H2. I will be sure to keep this updated with any new info we receive. Hope no one else has to go through this!!!

How can you have it stall so quickly, but they can't duplicate it?
Seems odd.

They can get it to shutter and just about stall, but they haven't gotten it to completely stall on them. I had the car for a little over a week and it sat in the driveway until today, so I have no idea why it keeps f*ing stalling when we get it back. Also, when I picked it up as I was leaving the dealership it just about stalled. If anyone can figure it out it would be great, but it just doesn't seem like that is possible!

wow...I can't imagine that happening....I will be really stressed out.
I hope everything goes ok.

As of this morning my 3 went back in for the Stalling problem and now it likes to slam into gear when you shift from Reverse to Drive. It just seems like it is getting worse instead of better. Also, my husband and I found that when we got my 3 back this past time there was a huge scratch on the roof of the car. So needless to say we were a bit pissed! If I find out anything new in relations to my 3 and the problems it has been having, I will be sure to post them!!!

My husband and I received a bit of good news this evening! (cool) We heard from Mazda Corporate and they are going to buy back my 3! I will admit I will really miss my 3 it is such a fun car to drive, but I won't miss all the problems there are with it!!!!

they are going to buy it at full price? full price - depreciation? will you get a new one from them?
hows that work?

congrats on finaly getting this taken care of.... sounds like a lemon for sure... it happens, i hope you aren't dissuaded from buying another mazda... maybe the cx-7 when it comes out (as you said you wanted a H2) or maybe this http://www.msprotege.com/forum/showthread.php?t=123621636 either way good luck and hope your next vehichle experience is all this one should have been...

Having owned many Mazdas I still can't believe people find them unreliable. Of course there will always be a bad apple but overall I have never been disappointed with my Mazdas' performance or reliability. My 3 has been trouble-free over the past year +. Hopefully the bad taste this experience left in your mouth won't last long. Dollar for dollar the 3 is the best car on the road. I'm sure the next 3 will be solid- if you decide to take a chance with Mazda again.

As soon as I know what all is going to happen in relations to Mazda buying back my 3, I'll be sure to post the details! As for not leaving a sour taste, well actually it has left a huge sour taste. I doubt I will ever buy another Mazda product in the future (sorry to say)!

It is legit, Mazda is buying back my 3!!! They are buying it back in full, just got the word yesterday! My 3 should be back in Mazda's hands in 2 to 3 weeks! I will be sure to post how the transaction goes!!

The latest news: The other day Mazda tried to offer my husband and I another new Mazda, which of course we turned down!!! (hah) Show us the money!!!!

An rx8 would be nice, but not with 2 two small children and 1 on the way! From what my husband and I have been told, we can expect to have a check from Mazda before the 20th of February! I sure hope so!!

According to the re-purchasing paperwork we received today, Mazda is fully purchasing my 04 3 back! We should be signing the 3 over to Mazda in 7 to 10 days from now and receiving our check. I will miss my 3 greatly -- I have missed it since Oct. 04, I really haven't had my 3 since then and we won't be getting it back. So we will have to say our "Good byes" when we go and sign all the paperwork!

glad to hear this is resolved sad to see a 3 owner go away though.. but with 2 kids and a bun in the oven i would think a mazda5 or some other type of small minivan would be what you are going to need... kids and all there crap...

Thanks, but I'm no "Minivan Person"! I'll be driving my husbands Dodge Ram 2500 Quad Cab Pickup with all the extras and 450 hp, until we get the Hummer!

This is the last week for my husband and I to be owners of our 3. Mazda is to be buying back our 3 by the end of this week (by the 24th). :)

A BUMMER? From a Mazda3? Good Luck. I'd hate to see your gas bill, between the RAM, known to be a gas guzzler, and a BUMMER, also known to be less than frugle on fuel.
Besides, it seems that your problems were caused by the dealer, not Mazda. Why take it out on them?
I don't understand your thinking at all.
