K&N TYPHOON PROBLEM

awsome, have any tips for installation so future owners only have to do this once?

Just make sure you leave a good amount of space between the bend in the throttle body tube and the master cylinder (see photo). Also when relocating the purge solenoid do what 'protejay' said and mount it away from the strut bar.

If your not positive that's the problem(and you have an A/T), pull the parking brake when you have it in reverse, and get out and check it? Or do you have to be moving?

UMMMM..I would just get a friend to help instead...that sounds like a great way to end up on americas funniest videos. (spank)

i did it, how do you think i took the pic of it toouching the strut bar. i have no friends (evil)

The thing that's hitting the strut bar is the Purge Control Valve. In the instructions they might have called it PCV. Generally PCV is Positive Crankcase Ventilation, and is the plastic 90* on the back of the valve cover.

yea, it shouldn't. it even says so in the warranty booklet somewhere under engine modifications. it'll only void if the mod is the cause of the problem.
