300k isnt bad but its not amazing either. its insulting to consumers when they can release something thats deliberately crippled... like there was NO reason for them to stab the iphone 1G people in the back with EDGE which is a steaming pile of s*** when they had 3G ready to go. its getting more and more transparent, and the people who are buying these deliberately crippled devices are ******* morons. there, i said it. apple probably has an ipad with a camera and SD slot and USB just chillin, but theyre a bunch of pricks since they know people would buy a silver turd in a pretty box as long as the apple logo is on it somewhere and steve jobs calls it a "magical and revolutionary" turd.

its ******* pathetic - but i dont know if i should blame apple or society.

Yes, looking back, the original iPhone was pathetic. But AT THE TIME (even despite its shortcomings) it was revolutionary. Denying it will only make you look like a... well.. yeah.

But seriously... there wasn't even an app store back then! People used them sooooo much differently. It was a phone (edge is just as good as 3G), an iPod, a web browser and a few other things... all rolled into a really easy to use interface. sure, the web sucked ass on edge but... there's this thing called wi-fi that sort of helped ease the pain.

In short, the similarities with the iPad are vast. Sure, the iPad lacks a lot of key features but it also provides you with a truly unique user experience that simply cannot be found anywhere else. If you've got the dough and lack the patience for the 2nd gen (and know you're going to get that one when it comes out) then... hmm... how exactly are you an F'in moron? I certain age-old adage comes to mind... something's better than nothing.

i didnt say the iphone wasnt revolutionary - it definitely was, even with no app store. (though the ipad still isnt). im saying people got suckered into buying a deliberately crippled product because of its shiny revolutionary-ness, then when the price dropped in 4 months everyone and their cousin went bananas, and then 4 months later the 3G was out and everyone was pissed because they knew apple was sitting on it. well, if were going to talk about adages, fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me.

maybe when the ipad actually has features it will be worth buying. but let me say this again:
APPLE DELIBERATELY CRIPPLED THIS DEVICE. i will NOT buy one since im not as impressed as the iphone (i have a 1G touch - wish i waited for 2G) at this point. what features are driving sheeple to buy it this time? its big and expensive, and lacks features of more capable devices. that just bothers me, no way around it. and the fact that apple is exploiting that is bulls***. people are all pissed at goldman sachs because they gamed the rules to make money, but how is apple any different? i no longer know how i feel about supporting a company like that, period.

but thats how it is over here. comapny's purposely withold technology they already have from the market to make more money. when i went to korea their phones were so much better than ours.

your lip spoiler will only be in fiberglass. all rumors about yours being in CF were hearsay and i have no comment on the issue. i will continue to be mum about the whole thing but will say the rumors that im witholding CF are false. i also have no comment on when your spoiler will be made in CF.

by the way - your fiberglass spoiler will be magical and revolutionary. not as magical and revolutionary as CF, but its not in CF, so oh well.

That s***'s crazy bro. I've always been a less is more kind of guy so if I didn't need it... I wasn't taking it. Maybe 10lbs was a bit of an understatement but 50-100? haha Even soliders don't have that much s*** on their back.

no i didn't carry that much when i was in boot camp... and i wouldve never gone to college if i hadn't blown out my knee 3 weeks before deployment to give me a permanent limp (something that the marines don't like )

doesn't seem like it even comes out. (I'm assuming it's at least staying powered but how are you supposed to sync it?) I don't think it's a terrible idea per se... (big LCDs and the CPUs that power them can easily run the same.. or more) and not provide the same ease of use. But needless to say... if you're going to do this, the 3G version is the way to go.
