I work at blockbuster, and every monday we put the "backer cards" in front of the movies coming out tuesday, we also put a bunch of empty blue boxes that say "Rent it Tomorrow" that's it, no movie name, no date, simply rent it tomorrow.

u would be surprised how many people bring those empty boxes to the front ready to pay. the worst are the ones that get upset when i point out "it comes out tomorrow"

hahaha what a dumbass... i used to work retail at T-Mobile and people would come up the the kiosk and ask us if we work for T-Mobile.... i would simly turn my my head look at the BIG ASS T-Mobile sign and and verify the logo matched the one on my shirt and kinda say.... looks like it today.

i got a good one.

a few years ago my uncle and i were at the Detroit auto show. we were looking at the Lamborghini's when my uncle said jokingly, ya know when u buy it you get 3 speeding tickets already filled out that u just sign and hand to the cop when you get pulled over. the guy next to us look at us amazed and said really? we told him yeah and walked away.

No so much idiocy, just ignorance, but right before the Escalade came out, my friends and I were at the LA car show and over heard the Cadillac rep pronounce it - Es-cah-lah-dee.

That's even better than hearing an employee (door-greeter) at Target pronounce the name of the company as if it were a French name...

my father in law who is a mailman always gets questions when he is in uniform "hey are you a mailman?" and he will jokingly say no he not and they will be like "Oh okay, thank you".... but if anyone has a parent or someone who is a mailman he loves to tell business or people that the postal is going to go up... you wanna talk about people flipping out on that
