well kids, after reading this thread last week, it made me think and maybe I should give it try in my 1997 Mustang GT w/ 106k miles
My normal mpg ( w/o the acetone)- averages 19.8-20.2 mpg ( this is on a 90 mile commute City/Fwy combined )
First fill up w/ 4 oz Acetone- same driving habit and condition = filled it up from 1/4 tank to full = (220 miles)10.12 gallons = 21.74 mpg
Second fill up w/ 4oz Acetone (also w/ the same driving habit and condition) = filled her up again from 1/4 tank to full =(223.2 miles) 9.3 gallons = 24 mpg. (rockon) Well so far it did increase my gas mileage and the car seems to idle smoother.
