how wide?

I wanted to know if anyone knows how much wider our rear tires can be compared to the front? I notice that some other front wheel cars that where in some mags have wider rear tires than front which looks pretty good.

probably the widest wheel you could put on the back would be a 7.5 inch wheel without doing fender work. that said, please don't put staggered wheels on a fwd car.

If you do this ghetto thing, you'll have a very dangerous handling car.

if you really want the staggered wheel look, then check out axis wheels' maxis lip system. same size wheel, same offset, but the rear lip is wider. but yes, FOR THE LOVE OF EVERYTHING GOOD, DO NOT PUT WIDER WHEELS IN THE REAR.

put wider tires on the front, run 8.5s on the front and 7.5s in the back. I will looks stupid, but it's mad JDM and will help with traction and handling.

as of this year, it's also mad Pontiac Grand Prix. or Bonneville, or something.

yeah the new grand prix has something like 285's up front and 255's in the rear

yep. when I kill my rear auto-x tires and move the fronts (they're 205's all around right now) I'm going to get 215's to put on the fronts...at least, I'm planning to...any1 know if 215's will stick out past the fenders? That knocks u out of stock class, that's y I'm wondering....

I have 215s on mine, they shouldn't be past the fenders...
