How to Restore Worn Out CX-5 Driver Seat?

Hi guys, i just bought a used 2019 CX5 GT (my first car 😁) I fell in love with the interior and i wanted to fix the driver seat which is a little worn out (which i understand because it a 6 yo car)

I bought a product that clean, moisturizer and protect against UV for longterm maintenance but i m not sure if it s enough to give it a better look. So can anyone give me some advice about how to fix it please 🙏.

The seat was abused and not cleaned by the previouse owner. Thats why it is like that not because its 6 years old.

Since its not real leather on the bolsters (its painted vinyl/plastic) the only option is to try to clean the seat with very mild liquid baby soap (a drop or two) and distilled water plus microfiber towel. Then wipe with just moist microfiber.

Dont bother with UV or moisturizers its not real leather anyways. The sitting pad is but its coated . Just wipe it often and would be ok.

If after cleaning with soap/water it doesnt go away it may have lost the "paint" from too much sliding on the left bolster.. not sure if you can do anything for it.

All you need is a simple vinyl cleaner spray and a brush. such as one made from horsehair bristles.

use circular motions to work the solution into the vinyl, then wipe it off gently with a clean rag.

do that a couple times.

if there are worn out areas remaining (not dirt) then you can have it refinished by someone specializing in upholstery/car seat repair, but since it doesn't appear to be any major damage, I personally would not worry about anything more than a thorough clean. simply going over it with just a rag will not break down the embedded dirt.
