How-To: Install Cobb Springs + Impressions afterwards.

I think eye level with the middle of the car is good since it'll show the stance/drop of the car. But if that works with you, then it works.

Seems like you've got a about a 2 finger gap front and rear?

How difficult where the sway bars to install compared the the springs? Especially that front one.

ya, i really like the level of drop that i have right now. my camera is messed up right now, so i can't really get the ground-level shots. the thing that i like is that the front and rear gaps are now almost exactly even, and i can't even get 2 fingers crammed into the gap, so it's all good...:D

the rear sway bars were absolutely cake. the front sway bars are a whole other story, though. the main issue i had with them is that i just couldn't get them off the ground far enough to work after the subframe dropped, so i ended up getting a friend with a lift to help me out after sweating on the driveway for like 2 hours. once it was up on a lift, the install was annoying, but only took about an hour. you really have to apply some elbow grease to get that stock sway out of there and the cobb sway in! so, if i had to make an overall recommendation, i would say that you should just install the springs + RSB and just forget about the FSB, since it's such a PITA (unless you have the proper tools(LIFT!!!), obviously).

so, in a nutshell: springs = moderately difficulty (given what i know now)...RSB = really freakin easy....FSB = PITA if you don't have a lift...easy-moderate difficulty if you have a lift, annoying as hell without one...=/

so do you need to drop the sub frame in the front to even get it in?

Two fingers for you old guys had another meaning if I could remember correctly. Which I can't... We all need to have the FRONT and rear bar, plus Cobb springs installed. I am quite sure this was the intention of M. To bring out the Wild Adult out. I am a going to get an estimate to have them all installed. Maybe that will be enough motivation to make me do it myself. as well I should.

Wow, S that is much better than the Hotchkis instructions. They are small, grainy, black and white. This is a big help. You are as wise, as you are kind. Thanks

So I took the OP's post and formulated it into a PDF with various other important information to know when installing. Is there somewhere I can host the file so you guys can snag it if needed? I imagine putting the link in the first post would help.

In the meantime, shoot me a PM with your email and I'll send it off if you if needed :)

The note about the strut bushing at the end, which number points to the bushing in question?
