How much did you pay for your Mazda2?

2011 Touring Spirited Green ~$14600 (before tax, etc) bought on Jan 2nd 2012. Got $1000 rebate from Mazda -- it was either $1000 rebate or 0% financing (rebate added up being better option, even without paying off early).

The first dealership I went to didn't have Touring in Spirited Green (which I wanted), either green Sport or silver or black Touring. Went to the second dealership -- these guys didn't have green Touring either, but quickly scrambled and found one at another dealer in the vicinity. Of course the first dealer later called and asked whether I'm going to buy silver Touring -- I told them the story how they could've been less lazy searching for the exact vehicle I wanted.

I paid $14,222.00 for a brand spankin' new 2011 Aquatic Blue 5 Speed Touring with 4 miles on the odometer. The first dealer inadvertently revealed a manufacturer to dealer rebate of $1,500.00 for 2011s, so from there I started bargaining hard. Pitted about 5 dealerships against each other until I got the absolute lowest price.

If anyone is interested in buying a 2011 Touring 5 Speed in Liquid Silver, let me know. I'll set it up for you and maybe get a "commission" or "referral" bonus or something. I'm thinking splash guards and a rear bumper protector. :D

Hello all! I paid a little over $13,600 for my 5 door automatic in grey (not sure of the stock color at the moment). I traded in my Jeep for $600 and the dealer installed the armrest and gave me the cargo net for free. Not a bad deal in all. I believe it had 65 miles when I finally took it home.

Picked up a 2012 Touring with a 3rd pedal in Brilliant Black for 15.9k + taxes and fees. Had 6 miles when I picked it up 3 weeks ago and now has 1000 on the clock.

Just bought a 2012 blue Sport with auto tranny for my wife for $16.3k OTD. Dealer threw in the 3M protective films on the door edges, behind the door handles, and rear bumper for free.

Got my black 5 speed sport for 10.4k with 12k on it after trading my 93 Toyota 4runner in for 2,601 dollars trade. The Toyota was NOT worth that. Happy so far. Black sure does draw the bird s***.

2012 mazda2 sport 5 speed silver with arm rest option
15105 out the door including all tax, fees, and registration

I purchased a brand new 2011 Mazda2 right off the showroom floor on February 13th, 2012 for $11,900. It was the last 2011 Mazda2 they had on the lot and they were ready to get rid of it (I was ready to take it!). I utilized the Chicago Auto show cash incentive of $500 and put a cash down-payment of $2500. No trade-in. This is my first car loan and first brand new car.

Specs:

2011 Mazda2 (45 miles)
Spirited Green Metallic
ATX (boo.)
Sport

That's an incredible deal. You could probably turn around & sell it for a profit. Good job !

If anyone is looking for the base manual trans right now I wouldn't pay more that $13,500 for it.
The dealer here has 2 of them for that price, so I'm pretty sure any dealer can easily match it.

Another Spirited Green, eh?

Very sweet deal. If only I could've waited a little more -- I knew they'd come down, but my old car was really letting itself go, so...

Thank you! I was pretty amazed by what a great deal I fell into. My boyfriend works at the local Mazda dealer and since they treat him well, I thought my business should go to them. My mother and I are die-hard Ford fans and to tell you the truth, Mazda never came into the radar (other than a '91 Mazda pickup we had a very long time ago) until my boyfriend decided to work at the dealer. She was first to trade in her un-gracefully aging 2001 Mercury Sable with 109K miles on a 2011 Mazda3i Touring. Gorgeous car and she loves it a lot more than she did her Sable.

I own a 1997 Ford Taurus with 189K miles and it's my baby. I've owned several Tauruses including two SHO's, so it was hard for me to look at the flying M. I ended up being talked into test-driving a white 2012 Mazda2 Touring with a manual transmission and instantly fell in love - I was extremely surprised! Unfortunately, I wasn't approved for the loan of almost $17K (I've never had a loan before) so they offered up the Spirited Green that was on the show room floor. I instantly fell in love with the color (after all, it fits my personality!) but was upset because it had an automatic transmission. Obviously, I got over the fact that it's an automatic simply for the fact that this little skittle handles like a dream! Now I get to retire my Taurus from road-course duty and throw the 2 on the track.

16,000.01 (lol at the .01) out the door, with taxes and title, for my '12 Liquid Silver Touring MT. I got 15,700 for my trade in ('09 Civic Si), so I only had to pay $300!

Hello everyone,
I am currently a member on the Mazda5 forum and I am now thinking about getting a Mazda2 to down size. I am shopping around here in So Cal. and the best deal I can find for a new black or silver 2012 Touring with auto transmission is $16,100 before tax and license. Is this a good deal?

14.5k for my true red mt sport. I put $4,000 down with no trade in. Had to do a lot of bargaining, but got a 2.5% APR on 60 months with extended warranty and gap coverage.

Got my Mazda2 yesterday and I couldn't be more excited!

White Touring Automatic w/ some add-on goodies like tinted windows (which look awesome w/ the white) and splash guards. Out the door for a little under 20 grand, but I'm in Washington so our sales tax is an insane 10%. Before tax and registration fees it was about 17.5. Did I get a good deal? A little hard for me to tell since the dealer added the tints, mats, splash guards and the rear bumper guard and then told me they discounted all the add-ons by a few hundred for me. Overall I'm pleased, did the 0% interest deal which is totally insane, so I'm not too unhappy if I maybe paid a bit more than other people.

Reading through this post is crazy.
I bought my 2 back in August.
$12,000 with $1,000 down. 0% for 60 months.
Sport Manual. No fancy add ons.

I think I got ripped off. White Touring manual for $16,750. Then they tacked on a $499 doc fee! All before tax, which is luckily just 4% here. I suck at negotiating.

16,799 total Sport model automatic transmission...no goodies. 0% financing and 0% sales tax here in NH...
