Im taking out the stock amp and sub and hooking up my own, but what all do i have to take off the dash to get the wires hooked up to the head unit, and how do i take them all off, Thanks

You need to pull off the trim piece around the radio (black rectangle).
Use the Kenwood key to pull out the head unit.
If you don't have the key, you can release the pocket and the head unit from the back by removing the glove box and pushing the clips on the back side.
As for the rest, if you're planning to run a much stronger amp, you'll need bigger power and ground wire as the stock stuff is only 10 or 12 gauge.
Good luck!

You can use the wires already connected to the head unit. Blue wire is the remote turn-on lead, and the RCAs are obviously signal

thanks

I needed to know how to do it cause i will be running 2 amps so i need to hook up more RCA cables. yea i knew the power and ground were junk got 4 guage wire to replace them. Thanks though

might want 0-4 guage from the battery and use a splitter to branch off at 4-8 with inline fuses for each set of wires and a cap on each split wire. if you are runnning some heavy equipment!

trust me your alternator will thank you for the caps!
