im recently rebuilding my already turbo 03 es. after a rod went through the block. im not sure if i should put a msp ecu in or what. the people who did the work before are needless to say are no longer working on the car. what standalone is the best or piggy back. basically i need help with everything after the build! lol any suggestions would help.

What did you use before? MSP ECU + SS AFC is a good combination. How much boost and what turbo you gonna be using this time around though?

well the turbo they put on was a tsi turbo kit. it had a stock mp ecu. but im gonna put a gt30r on it now. i want around 10-15psi. its got forged internals and p&p head. im thinking about stage 2.5 or 3 cams.

TSI as in Talon TSI? That's also a T25 I believe.. but not dual ball bearing. I can't believe you were pushing 10+ psi on stock internals and NA ECU, no wonder your engine blew lol.

If you're gonna go with a GT30R then the AFC won't be enough for you. You'll probably want to look into a standalone unit such as the Haltech.

lol ya. i think it went at 12psi. but i knew it was going to happen. the silly thing is when they built my engine " " i paid for internals but they decided not to put them in. halitech hey. ok no i can use it with the stock ucu or should i get the msp ecu?
