jeff have you tried getting with the govt. contractors like down here in bragg or anything?

I'm actually going to be looking for a new job in OHIO so that our family is closer to the wifes family. They have a few GIS jobs there and hopefully with my engineering design background I'll find something

must be nice...

I have no idea if it's going to be nice or what. First off, I don't know if anyone there will hire me. Secondly, I'll probably take a huge paycut by moving. Anyway, bump for you and hopefully you'll find something soon. I did what I could for you in Vegas man, there is a CAD Tech job open at the www.lvvwd.com (water district) here in Vegas that you should apply for.

still lookin......

I just stumbled upon this thread...I work at Northrop Grumman, but its the IT Sector. Anyway, if it worth anything I can call someone if you find a position on their website that you think you would be qualified for. I will look at some resources tomorrow and PM you if I find anything.

That would be great. unfortunately i only have education experience (GIS wise) but i do have 2 + years of NCDOT experience (North Carolina Department of Transportation) doing AutoCADD/Microstation work. Anything would be much help, thanks!!!

to bad that job with www.dvn.com isn't in OHIO. I do everything they ask for already plus CAD Design....dang cuz. I wonder how much they pay also????

Devon is a good company, with competitive pay and really good benefits. Corporate HQ is OKC, and we have the Houston & Calgary offices as well (plus other off-site locations). I guess home is where you make it...
