As you may or may not know, I have decided to move on and get a new 2005 WRX sedan. As much as I love my MSP, I have always loved the WRX, even before it was even available in the U.S.
So why didn't I get a WRX instead of the MSP in the first place? Because I thought the WRX was ugly, both inside and out. I was excited when they redesigned the exterior in 2004, but I was very disappointed when I saw the same crappy old ugly interior.
Now with the 2005 model year, Subaru finally got things right. The interior is much nicer, has higher quality materials, and has useable cupholders, as well as automatic climate control and a better steering wheel.
The potential of the boxer engine as well as the AWD is very tempting to me.
I need to sell my MSP unless I find a local Subaru dealer that will offer me a fair trade-in on the MSP, which so far, hasn't happened. I've only been to one dealer though.
So if you have any friends or family who love your car, and want one for themselves, let them know that I am selling my 2003.5 Titanium MSP with 25,000 miles for $15,500.
I will most definitely remain active on these boards, so don't think of it as me leaving the community. I'll just be the lone Subaru at the local Mazda meets!
