nope, second gear still sucks...the STi 6spd is beautiful though :D

I agree on the comments about the 05 interior. Only thing I dont like is the new wheels(blarf)

Wheels I don't really care about, as one of the first things I'd be doing is new wheels and tires. Stock wheels would be for the winter ;)

Jersey Look into the EVO RS.. same price as the WRX 26k... but faster then the STI/EVO. Since u don't like the interior redo it... most of the stuff u want isn't there anyways... I.E. radio..

I actually prefer the 02 exterior. I looked at the WRX as well but the cost was to high. Maybe when my MSP is paid I'll be in better shape to look the subaru again.

almost forgot insurance is cheaper on the EVO RS than the EVO itself... At least it was for me..

how do they hit almost 14 flat with 227hp minus 20% drivetrain loss, so 181hp at the wheels plus the car must be heavier than an msp....? Im not doubting you, but I pulled on my buddies with just a mbc and 9psi (not from a stop, it was 2nd gear and on) while a 328ci beemer that only runs 14.5 beats me.....wierd.

From a roll a WRX is only as fast (maybe a bit faster) than a stock MSP. To understand why a stock WRX can hit a 14.1 in the 1/4 mile, you need to look at the whole picture. It's usually 14.1 @ only 92-93mph (the same trap speed as an MSP). The AWD can give such a powerful launch that low times are easy to obtain.

How can you say you're buying a WRX when you haven't sold your MSP yet? I'd buy a Rex in a heartbeat if I could sell my MSP for the amount that's owed. (which, by the way, is a lot less than $15,500 - and my car has nearly 10k miles less than yours)

Since I've tried to sell mine a number of times, all I can say is good luck! Hopefully you do... I agree with everything you said about the 2005 WRX. It's quite literally the perfect car. (at that pricepoint at least) What color will you be getting?

(werd) I wanna get another car as well, but Im not gonna talk about getting anew car, till I sell the P5...sure i know what I want, but that doesnt mean i can definitely get it...

For me personally, it's sti or nothing, so for now, I'm sticking with the MSP.

I just checked out the new interior for the 2005 WRX and it makes me glad I didn't buy the 04 WRX. That, and I keep telling myself that my MSP was $10k less than the WRX I was going to buy, saving me money for that growing list of mods in my sig.

I can afford to take a hit on the MSP, I'm making quite a bit more money now than a year ago when I bought the MSP. I already have a potential buyer for $15,500, and I haven't even put it on autotrader yet.

Looking at silver and blue!
