i might jump in on this if i can have my exhaust in and on by then, just to see if im breaking the 155whp mark.

I'll chip in too, but I need to make sure we are ok to be over 15 cars. I am writing him now.

We pulled the tranny (among other things) to have OPM install some sort of Torsen. I don't remember the brand off hand. It'll be re-installed in about a week.

Yeah, I considered doing that before the Quaife.
I thought that OPM pretty much guts your stock open diff and installs a clutch-type...not torsen?

I'm not sure, they might. Jason will know more.

Yeah its a clutch-type LSD. I haven't driven a car with a clutch type diff, but their's is top notch and well recommended among road racers and autocrossers. If anything, it'll be lighter than a Quaiffe. All together its costing about $1100 (including transmission overhaul), which is better than the $1400-1600 (without transmission work) that I would have had to pay for the Quaiffe. My car with the F-type tranny costs more for the quaiffe because of the mysterious "bolt kit" that is required.
The dyno run for me is just for a baseline measurement. I won't be doing the power mods for a few months probably.

I did clear it up with the owner and it is fine if we have extras, he has done 24 cars on two different occasions and they ran out of cars before they ran out of time. So post up if you are for sure and NOT on teh list already, he would like alist of the car types.

It's looking more and more certain that I'll be taking two sessions with the CSP Miata. One with the Megasquirt, one without (little to no tuning involved). I'll need about 5 minutes between sessions to swap everything over.

My overall goal with the MS is to increase my understanding of how the thing works and to create a good/better tune before a dyno session and/or regular use. This seems like an good opportunity to test that.

cool, are you going to do three ones w/o MS and 3 runs with or 3 runs total switching in between pulls, as long as it doesn't take more than 10 minutes or so they are cool with you making changes between pulls.

I doubt I'll make it to bowling. I don't want to spread this cold around. The Megasquirt forum can be found at http://www.msefi.com/ . Feel free to shoot me any questions.

Is there room to squeeze one more car in?
I have a friend with a mustang gt at work that's interested in joining in on the dyno fun.
