personally, id actually trust myself more than a garage with something like this. and plus, knowing that i put it in, if something does go wrong, like a leak or somethin like that, it would be easier for me to diagnose and fix the problem since im the one that put it together..

I pulled the upper portion of the airbox out today in 2 minutes, not a problem. When you wrench on your car you learn just a little bit more. Plus, the $30 works better in my gas tank right about now.

I bought my Fujita at this place on Ebay , (neverbone stock) everything was fine with fast shipping ! This seller have a shop in USA but i don't remeber the name !

True but im guessing you've done this b4? the most i've done under the hood was add windshield washer fluid, and change the parking light hehehehe..

your right though i prob should have done it myself, i prob would have appreciated it more.... and dont get me started on gas WTF!

I just installed my MS CAI today. The biggest complaint I had when installing it was removing the lower portion of the stock air box. There are 3 nuts that are a PITA to get out of there, and not much clearance. Installing the intake took me an hour with a friend, no issues whatsoever. Interesting that you don't need to oil the filter, just shampoo it every 20,000 miles.

Yeah that's one of the newer ones, a lot of newer air filters these days just need warm water and mild soap to clean out, they don't really need a recharge (oil?) kit to be cleaned out. I actually would prefer something like that anyway, if I had to choose. Oil is just messy no matter what you're doing.... changing the car's or cooking with it, lol

Stupid question but... why would you take the CAI off in the Winter? Just curious... because honestly I would think about leaving mine on.

I did not have issue with fuel cut during the winter

even when running the ets tmic & su tp.
