Hiboost will not sell there piggyback seperate. As far as the P5 swap, I don't think that will help much. As far as the fuel pump, go with my In-Tank setup. I don't know much about perfworks piggyback, but I would suggest spools standalone. My .02

do you have any links on info for fuel pump?......well i spoke with hiboost and i believe he said its a haltech unit, he said he could setup one up for me....but i am not sure wich one to get....

so the miata pump will work better than the stock protege one?...damn i am off to find some money....let me check the "tree"....
PS thanks alot....

Not the stock Miata pump, a Walbro 255 LPH made to replace the stock Miata pump.

I was just comparing the two stock pumps to show that they where the same. My Miata also sports a Walbro 255 LPH pump, a must for the supercharger. Just click the link in my sig to check it out.

man get a new ecu - go spend some real money and get a haltech or something and get it set up for your car. i can guarantee you wont regret it!!!!! you can then set up the engine to whatever specs you damn well want and hook it up to a laptop and change from street to strip when ever you want.

my 3 cents

later

lets get the inline fuel pump from walbro, not the intank

is it available?

We will need the pump anyway to run more than 8psi reliable right?

where can I get one?

if you get the 255lph HP intake pump, you'll never need to touch your fuel system from the engine back ever again

I agree, this is why I went with the in-tank.

If you're thinking about dishing the money out for a true solution, I would either get HiBoosts Haltech and do it right, or wait a little longer for perfworks' piggyback so you can control fuel AND timing.

The pump is not used to control fuel, it there to make sure you get enough fuel when its needed.

Yeah man, I had to broke my engine to figure that out.
Without an aux pump or a stronger pump in tank, running over 8psi is a risk. You can even completely close the return line and not get enough fuel.
Fuel flow is not sufficient. Thats why everyone here is running at least aux fuel pumps, it may have saved my engine from braking that piston....detonation (lean mixture).
