Dang. Was just scopin forums and got hooked on this one seeing that yellow beast, read through it was expecting to see a "Just sold it to *.......*.

...then why didn't you just extend the raffle until the end of the year, you could of gotten all the money you need and make someone very happy with a amazing chrismas present (erm, sorry...Holiday present to be P.C.)...

Because the raffle went for almost 5 months and didn't even get to half of the tickets needed (I don't even think it made it to 1/3 of the tickets). Because I can't market/sell the car while a raffle is going on as that pulls the rug out from under the raffle. It just simply wasn't being effective and I had to give this route a good solid try. I just don't drive the car anymore, I really prefer my BMW over it even though the BMW is nowhere near as fast.

A guy here in CO is dead set on going turbo in his MP3 and is interested in the whole car. He wants the engine/turbo set up to drop in his Blue MP3, but has a friend he could sell the yellow MP3 to. He just received a settlement for workman's comp and is waiting for the check to clear. If you'll take 12,500, he's very interested in purchasing. We'd most likely fly out and drive it back. Let me know and I'll keep you updated on what's happening with him.

Yeah, I'd take 12,500 for it. I have another guy here who is looking at trying to get a loan so he can buy it so is working on that. But either way whatever works out more or less first I guess.

You could fly denver to Madison or denver to Milwaukee. Milwaukee would probably be cheaper and I could easily meet you out there.. but it is 2 hours more for the drive back. I've done the drive from wisconsin to Denver before, was actually fun although most of the roads were boring.

Not sure yet... was figuring like 350 for the welded LSD and 4.5K for the engine. It's a rather heavily done long block, so I figured slightly less than a new short block is a decent deal.
