I'm up for a raffle also. Sounds like a pretty good deal and with a sweet car like that I'm sure you will draw quite a crowd. Where would this raffle be posted at if it were to take place?

I'll let antoine say what the donation stuff will be. I believe the tax implications would be varied depending on how it is viewed. Technically the blue book value of the car is about 9,000 which would probably be "income" you'd have to report. You would normally pay sales tax on a vehicle, and probably would be done on that as well. The "retail" value of the car is very arguable... it could be anywhere from the 9K or whatever KBB says it is worth up to as much as 25K depending on how you value the modifications and content of the car. But there would be implications to be thought of... But I think worst case would be that you'd have to report about 9K in income and you'd be looking at sales tax of 9K on the vehicle when getting a title for it... but that's worst case... I'm not sure it would even be that "bad"
