flat_black said:Got my MPi in... N/A style, and all. But the thing is most certainly causing more issues than helping, so far. Won't idle properly, and I don't really have a 'base map' to work with, since no one has really posted a base map at all. I've gone over my wiring twice, but I intend to do it a third time. I'm getting lots of backfiring and sputtering when it DOES start, which it hasn't done since the second try. I pulled the coils while installing it, then reinstalled them afterwards, just to be sure. Not sure exactly what's going on at this point. Any suggestions, folks?

I'll add more to the archive if people want.

Step 4: Install the MPI Tuner wires blue #6, green/yellow #11, black/white #10 and the green Turbo Module wire to the PCM light green w/black #88 wire that is coming in from the engine side.
I did that and used the 1k resister( the way Big Timm's MAF hookup pic), the car wouldnt run(same bad idle as last time). The only way we got it to work was take off the green Turbo Module wire(since in Big Timm's pic was is no green TM wire). How the car idle and runs.
Now here is the question: What do we do with the green TM wire? Should it connect to anything? Also, when idle(500-900rpm) I need the fuel to be +5 for the car to idle well. If I have less than +5, the car will die. Is that normal?

The fuel cal does not have to be set at certain number. All that matters is that you get around 2-2.08v at idle. That's what the fuel cal does, gets the whole map in that range. So if you need a +5 to get there then cool, but if you need a -50, then that's OK too. Whatever works to get you in that range is what you want.
