E Manage

This is a good example of what I was talking about.

You can see between 2000-4000 the ecu fighting the changes. The programming hits the desired ratio then the ECU compensates because it knows that it cannot be in OPEN LOOP at that particular moment.

With the FMU on there it impossible to see the actual results of the system on the car. But nonetheless I think you're making progress. Hope it pans out with larger injectors.

your right there we could not do anything with that loop but I think with the bigger injctors we can I will get rid of the FMU. It is easier to manipulate the injectors.

You have alot more problems than what is being said. You are detonating thruout the entire upper RPM range. The dip is open loop yeah but with the Emanage you should have been able to transition this a little better. The ecu was just dumping fuel at that rpm site. You tuner needs to a better job. IF you are running an FMU, the stock injectors and running out of fuel then you really have more problems than I thought. The FMU will most likely increase the Flow by at least 100cc up top and in boost. I dont see how the Emanage was doing anything for you.
Sorry man. But let us know if your tuner gets it straightend out.

:)

Update anyone?

Sounds like the emange does not work on our cars. And that the FMU was just hiding it or masking it? I need some form of fuel management! Dont we all?

haltech? No?
Nope, Much better.
Much more reliable and user friendly.
Two weeks guys. I will have a thread up and running on it. At that point we will bring it to reality.
Lets just put it this way. People said that this company wasnt going to help this community. We have arranged otherwise.

Trick it. Has anyone tried disconnecting or putting a resistor across the O2 sensor and engine temp to make the ECU think the engine is cold. It can't go closed loop at point since it won't have the inputs to do it, but it has to run openloop since this is start up. This would give a unchanging fuel map to tune from I'd bet.

Thoughts?
