Does SRT-4 innercooler fit?

I remember reading about this but did a search and cant find anything.

How do guys think it will fit? REason being my firend is upgrading his SRT-4 innercooler and is practically giving it aways to me. WElding pipes wont be a problem either but I wonder how well it will fit.

What do you guys think?

I think it's possible, but from what I have seen after pulling off my front fascia, I'm almost sure you're gonna have to cut some portion of the bumper/rebar.

yeah no doubt. height wise im sure we will be fine but im not exactly sure how long it is.

It should fit. It is not that big. The Ion looks bigger. Besides, it is free so just take or I will!!

Actually I looked into getting a srt intercooler a while back and it will fit. But I decided id rather have the ion fmic instead so I never ended up getting it.

height is gonna be a problem. Anything bigger than about 6 inches tall will require cutting of either the bumper, or the support frame.

I'll try to look at the specs...not sure. From eyeballing it...looks like an good size.

Many SRT-4 guys are upgrading innercoolers so one can be had for very cheap if you post or browse around SRTforums.com

the wide won't really be a problem, but your main issue is gonna height. Your probably gonna have to do some cutting. My 6 inch tall ic required a little bit of trimming.

The size of the srt4 i/c is about (core) 24x2.75x5.75. the endcaps are good material to work off of but are shaped for the neon. so you would just cut them off and get diff caps made. very good upgrade if you know someone getting rid of one. they will probably go for $200-300 used.

I can get a brand new one shipped (US only) for $340 if anyone wants to spend that much but it is better to look on their forums.
