Custom Turbo Inlet-Fits Like Stock!

Just curious, will the piece come with all necessary documentation on how to install? I'm pretty confident it'll be an easy install, its just one less thing to worry about. Maybe its just the engineer in me speaking :)

Looking good though, I may be in on this.

Yes, we will include full install instructions.

why would you powder coat aluminum ?? it doesnt need any coating on it.

A lot of people are looking for the "stealth" look in black. It is pretty hidden and in black, it would be pretty much invisible for oil changes. Besides, we're throwing in the powder coating anyways, so why not?

Hay All

That is exactly why I ordered one. It will be interesting to see how this Turbo Inlet works with the MS CAI. Probably not much different than the COBB SRI but you never know. I CANT WAIT!!! (drunk)

Note to all, this thread must only discuss the inlet as a personal design of mine for my personal use. No business discussions can take place here.

GREAT design!!!!! someone sent me a copy of your peice i installed it yesterday (eekdance)

I know this inlet pipe won't produce massive HP, but could you feel anything as far as better throttle response? Less turbo spool?

Is this desirable in this car...? (huh)

NO!!! (no) With our weak rods, we don't need more boost at the lower RPM range, unless you want a nice big hole on the side of your block.

I'm still waiting on mine... I wish there was a way to control boost so it doesn't hit so soon!!

How many people have had issues with low rpm boost destorying motors???? Not trying to start anything, I'm seriously wondering

What can we do to safeguard against this?? I'm getting farther out of warranty's graces everyday and can't afford another motor...

Some speculate its due to the LEAN condition at the low RPM band when the boost hits and the fuel system can not instantly supply fuel.

Solution to this is Mrlilguy's CDFP...it will help. More fueling/tuning solutions are getting nearer.

Others say its just the motor is too weak. As long as you stay away from the 350 HP mark, you'll be fine. But everyone is recommending that we need to change the rods!!!

Blowing a hole through my bloack would be the biggest nightmare ever!!
