I've got a Lian-Li PC-71 server case with window and I love it.
The case is AMAZINGLY well constructed and in my experiences, the quality has not been and probably will not be surpassed. It's exceptionally large for a home system, and because of that, I had to end up hiding it in my closet since it wouldn't fit under the desk. However, it *is* a server case, not an end user case. I did understand that before I bought it, though.
Regardless, even if you're looking for something smaller, which I'd suggest, I'd still look for a Lian-Li product. I've used other cases for installs and the difference is night and day.
When looking around for one, mentally establish what you want the case to ultimately end up as. If you're a geek or an "e-ricer" and want a show case, find one with windows, handles, or whatever you want. If you want a small LAN case, get just that, a mini case. If you want to look cool but not worry with installing your own cold cathodes or LEDs, get a prebuilt case.
If you're a geek and constantly change accessories, look at how easy it will be to drop new drives or devices in or take them out.
If you want to run a RAID array or have multiple drives (eg: more than 2 hdds and 2 5.25" devices), look for one with the proper amount of bays available. I personally have 4xWD120GB HDDs running RAID 0+1, a CD-ROM, CD-RW, DVD+R, Digital Doc 5 and a fan controller, so I definately needed the extra space.
If you're a USB fanatic, look for one with front USB ports.
If you're an overclocker, look for one with ample space for fans or a cooling system and the proper vens for heat.
If you're a gamer, get a small case you can take to a friend's for a lan party.
If you can't stay in one place longer than six months, again get a small case.
Also take in to consideration the material it's made from. Do you want plastic, aluminum, steel, carbon fiber (har har), or what? How long do you want it to last? Do you want people to be in awe over it? Do you just wsant a plain, no-frills "git r done" kinda box?
There are an EXTREME number of cases available now that PCmodding has become a "sport", of sorts. I've seen anything from the basic beige blah case to a female upper body with the connections in the back.
Just depends on how far you wanna go and your "end use"
