I tried to install a set of adjustable coilovers on my OEM struts and for some reason I dont think they fit. Has anyone install some coilovers using their stock struts if so let me know how your install went. I put on number ones from nopi

what kinda coilovers are they? brand....

"i put on number ones from nopi" not sure if i understand that. if thats the name of the brand then this is your problem

well dont buy bad parts... wtf is number one.... for a brand name just sounds cheezy from the get go kinda like ichiban

that's exactly what NOPI...err... DOPI is.

I'd sell them and get some Ground Control coilovers...

so where is a good place to get some good coilovers that will work good with no problem and do I need to change the struts?

yea sell those pieces of s***, im sorry you got ripped off... lesson learned.
ground controls are good. but putting any springs on stock shocks is never the greatest idea in the first place. if you dont have the money i would save up and get you a nice combo. do the math to where maybe having coilovers is not necassary i.e. changing height does not need to happen.

i have espelir springs and tockico shocks, got the great drop on the car (about 2 fingers between tire and fender) and no need to adjust it at all.

sell those on ebay though stat

grease em up.. use wheel bearing grease.. just grab a handful and put it all over the top part.. it works. (thumb)

My Skunk2's don't make any sounds at all, stiff yes, but I'm running a higher spring rate than what normally comes with Skunk2's for the Protege... I dont even have the right tops; I just made the ones I have work and they rock!!! car handles like a go-cart and makes no noise and the car has less than a finger space between the tires and the fenders, also no rubbing either with people in the car and tearing it up in a corner...;)
