Mazdaspeed 3 2007
Here is the dilemma I am in. I got about 3 grand to spend on my car in november. I was out of the country for 3 months and seems like everyone has made parts for our cars. Which is great coming from a a previous mazdaspeed protege. I need some help fellas! I want to get the most power from my car with the best parts. I would like to get Turbo back, Intake, and FMIC. Only thing is What else would I need to get to make my car run safely. When I did this to my protege I had to get engine management, and new injectors. Any input on this guys would really appreciate any help from fellow modders! Thanks

Get the Corksport FMIC (comes with turbo inlet and intake, full downpipe or turboback, Forge BPV, Cobb AP and load the v103 map. You'll probably have some money left over.

How does the cobb AP work? Can I do it myself without tuning? And when you say full downpipe are you talking bout corksport? Sorry for the questions just been away for awhile learning the new products. Thanks for the input

Alright I went out corksport and I am looking at the Corksport FMIC, Downpipe and Cobb AP. If I get these things Im under 3 grand, what else would I need to run smooth with these mods? When looking at the FMIC it asked about recirculating flange. If I am right I need that to work a BOV right? Any help fellas?

That leaves you with around 1 grand to work with. You can get a bvp (BOV's not recommended in speed 3 or 6). You can also get an intake, guages, test pipe, springs, engine mounts, shifter upgrades (bushings / short shifter), Intake manifold. All those are nice upgrades which are all pretty inexpensive. You could also finish off your exhaust if you want the sound.

COBB AP is a tuning device with multiple formats depending on how your car is set up. I dont have one but im pretty sure all you do is plug it in . . . Install takes minutes. Basically maxes the hp / tq gains from modding.

Say bye bye to your warranty :)

just get CP-E and call it a day. Yeah, it's a little more expensive, but isn't quality the most important thing here?

Any people that can give some input on the SRI and AP by cobb?

As I said earlier Cobb AP is a flash tune that you do yourself. It has multiple maps (settings) that you can customize. Maximizes the power gains in your car by setting boost cut and all sorts of stuff. Its been dyno proven here on the forums so just do a search. Cool thing about it is its easy to install / or remove if you want to revert to stock. I might get but I want to wait for my intercooler / dashhawk / boost gauge so I can moniter things before I install the AP.
