I was helping a friend change the brake rotors and calipers on his '90ish protege. The install went very well, old calipers and rotors came off easily and new ones went on even easier. We ran into the problem when trying to bleed the brake lines.
The front right caliper has fluid and bleeds normally as well as the rear left. The brake pedal goes almost all the way to the floor when we try to build up the pressure however. The front left caliper will slowly leak fluid but it doesn't show signs of pressure and the pads don't move at all.
The back right caliper doesn't have any fluid to it at all. We were thinking that this could be a clogged line but the fact that fluid is getting to the front left negates that. There are no leaks in the lines either.
We are going to borrow a power bleeder tomorrow to see if we can pull some fluid to the back caliper and hopefully get it and the front one working.
Any other suggestions as to what it might be? Thanks for any responses and kudos on reading that whole thing.
