yeah, it happens every time you push your brake. when you let go, it turns off. Just kidding.
you've probably got a short, first place i'd check is in the spoiler. do a search on here for "spoiler rattle" and there should be a link to a "how-to" thread in there. It shows you how to remove the spoiler.

I meant the WARNING brake light, sorry.

It could also be worth checking the following:
Low brake fluid level - check and add some brake fluid . Be careful as brake fluid is a paint remover.
Check your parking brake function.
Check your fuse box for a loose fuse.

Ya, probably a fuse or something like that. As long as the ABS light isn't coming on at the same time. I had that happen, where the E-brake and ABS lights both came on, and it was a speed sensor on one of the rear wheels that was damaged due to heat from when the rear caliper was sticking (known P5 issue). Was fine driving home when the lights first came on, but when I took the car out later that night to see if it was still happening, the ABS would kick in as soon as I hit 60km/h.... not good!! $300 CDN later and the sensor is replaced now.

Okay folks, here's the deal:

If your brake light (idiot light on the dash) turns on and off, your car is trying to tell you that there is a low level of brake fluid in the system. This could mean that you are either loosing fluid somehow (unlikely), or you need new pads, as the pads wearing away create more "room" in the system for the fluid.

This is most likely the reason your light is blinking.

In the future, grab your manual. It will tell you everything you want to know about the idiot lights (RTM)
