hey, i just got a greddy type s bov from a friend and i was going to buy the flange to hook it on.. but then when we looked at where it was suppose to be put on, the hose is made of rubber. and the flange for the bov wont fit. neone kno what i can do???

pic no workie. If you're trying to mount an aftermarket BOV flange to the stock pipes....its not gonna work. You're gonna have to get hardpipes

If you look at the pictures (which you can't) it looks like he can get the BOV mounted with that flange to the stock Rubber Tubing that the stock BPV connects to. You would just need to plug the Intake box.

Oh just re read your problem. You will need some clamps and a silicone coupler that has different diameters on either end. I will try and find what you need.

The flange from Horsepower freaks will not work on stock pipes. These flanges are meant to be welded to a hard pipe such as steel or aluminum.

Stock (what you have pictured) is a BPV (Bypass valve, or known as Diverter valve). This is different than a BOV.

#1 - if you want a woosh sound of a BOV, you cannot just slap one in.... you car will probably stall
#2 - if you just want a different sound or preformance gains, get a BPV like this one
#3 - BOV and BPV setups have been documented on this forum, please use the search function to learn more.
#4 - at stock boost, you will not see much of a difference with a different valve

I don't see why that would NOT work as if you connect a hose the part that needs the "welded" and connect that to the nipple on the IC pipe it would work just like my Forge BOV. You would need to support the BOV somehow but it would still "work" as a BOV.

sure you can get it to work, but that flange is not like the flange in his link. That flange has a large OD and is not ideal for the applicaiton. You just need to get an expensive reducing hose.
