blue engine cover?

I've been shopping for new and used CX-5's. This is probably a stupid question...but some have blue engine covers but most are just black. Is there any rhyme or reason why some are blue?

Blues are 2.0 litre, blacks 2.5.

Not if you've got a sky Blue Mica car. The engine cover matches the body color!

Mine matches my colour perfectly. But I can see owning another colour car and having a blue engine cover could seem a bit silly to some, if you obsess about those kind of things... (actually it would bother me a lot, luckily I bought a blue mica in 2013)

The engine cover is for. 1. Sound deadening. 2. Directs air over the engine ignition coils for cooling. 3.?

I have a blue cover, the car is silver, built in october 2012 and It's a 2.2D

so cooler than a 2.0.

I know I didn't word what I meant to say correctly, I meant regardless of the 2.5, 2.0 is only available in manual anyway
