ATTN Spool

It would be nice for Terry to come on here, but I've talked to him (not lately) and I know that this was coming. Terry is upset, so please understand how hard it would be for him. Yes he should have said something, but if it was my company I'd probably have curled up into a ball in the corner and not said anything either.

Sucks about losing the support. . .and I do hate the way we end up bashing vendors, so in terms of this forum. . .Karma is a b**** I guess. We had it coming. . .best lessons are the ones that hurt the most I guess.

(Sorry, don't know what else to say. . .and gotzoom, I lost some money too, but not nearly as much. . .sorry to hear.)

its official then, it has been a complete loss... no more Spool parts even with the new ownership... we probably lost Terry for good, too :( this blows

Well..I am not sure where all this hype..about negative threads about spool has come from...

But many people have said how they love his kit..and i barely ever see any negatives for spool kits..

Chas

Sorry to hear that but... I hope the new owner will contiune to give the same support to all.

yea really iwas just thinking that myself..maybe he spent too much on the food at the open house?>

im a bit surprised...to see the types of posts I am seeing....

for those of you that have spool products....he has always given 110% to support the club and to support those that have bought his products (there are some cases that may not have gone so smoothly), but ..... its time that some of you give him the benefit of the doubt and support him.

Can you imagine what it would be like to loose your business?

Can you really expect him to jump on to a public forum so quickly?

Then be baraged by 1000 "whys".

I do understand those that have money outstanding....and I would be tremendously concerned myself.... but take a muture stance and contact him directly (as best as possible).

I would hate to come back to a forum and read all this crap.

When I met Terry a couple of weeks ago, he was the nicest guy ever. He talked with me a couple of minutes and answered my stupid questions without any problem.

It is very sad that they may not be making any more products for the Mazda, but I am sure that everything will be worked out for those that still have pending orders with him.

Terry apologized to me for the delay and I don't blame him for not getting back to me sooner. He DID get back to me....and that's what counts to me......

I just pray that Spool would still be around to help us guys out....

Maybe he wanted to move on.... and he agreed to sell it! There wasn't any confirmation that he lost his bussiness.

:off topic:

Has anyone even seen Juan latley???

Weird that my name was brought up in the first post. I know some of the story, but I really dont want to post anything. Let terry get on here, and handle it.

I heard from him yesterday, he must be the busiest man alive busting all those turbos out and designing new ones.

This is a sad day in the FI section... terry was a huge inspiration to me turbo'ing my mp3.. I have delt with spool on numerous times, and everytime terry was great to deal with.

I hope terry takes care of all the outstanding orders.. which i would think he would.

Retail is a tough thing...

This truely saddens me. :( Terry provided me with a lot of help when I was considering boosting. This is a sad, sad afair. :'( :wtf:

this is true terry was a hell of a guy. man that subway sub was huge at open house lol

word, I didn't even know you were there.

We'll see what happens with spool ITS in the coming weeks.

As soon as we find out who the new owners are we need to get together and let them know what a great community we have here and how much Spool means to us. It might help them make a descision when it come to discontinuing the Protege support.
