I've known Tommy and Paul for a long time...the NC metal scene is pretty tight. Everybody knows everybody. Also check out "Undying" and "Glass Gasket".Hazman said:Dude, your friend is seriously a member? I have been listening to those guys forever! Who is your friend?

It's Kiss for our generation. They can put on one hell of a show, but the crowd they attract kind of suxxx. Lot's of bad attitudes in the pit.Heathen23 said:I was never a big metal fan until I found slipknot.
Now my favorites are:
sLipKnot

I'm so outside the metal scene I care not. It's a major shift from my usual mix of Dan the Automator and DJ Shadow that it's like jumping in a cold shower when I put it on.xelderx said:It's Kiss for our generation. But Heathen you incorperate so much of the metal lifestyle into your life. You drive a fast, clean, boosted import, you are self employed, and your a skinny white kid. Wait a second...????(dark)Heathen23 said:I'm so outside the metal scene I care not. Walls of Jericho...awesome. My old roomate saw them play several years ago and I think he honestly had a tear in his eye at the end of the show. I think he was awed by the singer.element.8 said:my hardcore roots are very deep, my friend.
i played drums for walls of jericho for a while. and a few other local bands, like enkephalin and malakhai.
I keep missing it too and this year was Prayer for Cleansing's final show. I got to see them several monthes ago at a reunion, but Hellfest is always the highlight of the year.reemer99 said:Being that you are much closer to NY than I, have you ever been to Hellfest? I always plan on going, then something comes up but I have heard it is a great time. Who wouldn't enjoy 3 straight days of hardcore?
