Went out to the garage to head off for work this morning and found about a 12" crack her windshield - right at eye level on the driver's side, branching in from the edge.

No sign of impact, nothing on the ground to suggest something fell on it; it looks like it just up and cracked in the night.

Pressure crack!
Been happening since the MP3s in 2001, actualy its patheticly common. It happened to me. Take it to the dealer and demand they replace it.
They did for me as it was a warrenty issue.

Same thing happened to me. Over night, in my garage. Replaced under warranty.

Happened to me as well about two months ago.
The dealership replaced it under warrenty and gave me a (free) rental for the day.

WHAT?!?!?! i wish i would have known of this problem earlier this year. it was the middle of the winter, i went to an auto car awsh (never doing that again to my baby) to get the salt off and it comes out with a crack. i talked to the manager of the wash and he says there's no way to prove the car wash did it and it wasn't there before. so i ended up dishing out $240 something for a new windshield. and from what you all describe here, starts at the edge, just kinda appears, it matched that description. so i probably could have gotten a new one from the dealer. oh well. now i know

i am angry over something but its not the car ( yet )
this guy i am seeing has my kitten ( the other cat in the house kept attacking my kitten ). so he was watching him for me until i coudl find my own place.
i just got a call at work that he dropped him off at my aunts house, says he hasnt talked to me in over 2 weeks:bs: and left him there
lucky bastard, skylar ( my kitten ) wasnt hurt in ANY way.
but i have been calling him every day to see that skylar has been ok and he is alright. :wtf: i havent been able to see him since i have been going back and forth to ny AND HE KNOWS THIS.

guess i aint seeing HIM anymore???
now he doesnt even have the decency to answer my calls.
you dont take people angers out on defenseless animals...
at least he didnt drop skylar on the side of the road.... but my kitten is SO cute.

Yep, I had the same problem, crack in the exact same place. Service manager said he had to "look at it", but when he did he said they'd replace it for free, under warrenty. The windshield was backordered at the time, but I think I had a new one in like 3 weeks ...
