Damn that last pic is amazing. Depending how much it would cost to fly up there id love to. Always have wanted to head up there.

Picasa2 (free from google) has several filters that you can apply to digital pictures after they are taken, These filters also exist in real life. Among those filters is a filter that goes about halfway down the picture, it may be shaded or tinted a color in varying degrees of darkness. I used these filters to take the brightness out of the sky, and it helps bring out the defination in the clouds.

the middle one is straight up.. a couple others had lighting adjusted... the moose had color saturated...

all done in Picasa2

a couple of these had a graduated tint to bring defination to the clouds.. The bear is untouched, and the lilies were untouched

I may have played with the color settings a little much here, but I was trying something new... the last one is untoched.

was that south of anchorage, on the way to homer/seward/turn again arm? I loved that drive. I made it in the winter. When i go back in mid july i might do it again in the summer.
