Alaska Road Trip (56K prepare to wait)

yes it was Turinagin Pass on the way to Seward... it took us almost 7 Hours to drive to Seward because we stopped at almost every turnout. (it normally takes about 3hrs)

We took 232 pics on my camera, and as I get them processed, I'm gonna post 'em

I'm gonna head north to Denali Park in a couple weeks... I heard it's just as awesome up there.

Yep i was there too. It is truely beautiful. Stop at eagle's landing/creek when u get a chance. I saw like 20-30 bald head eagles with in a 1 sq arce.

Alaska rules. I went there many summers ago, and I swear part of me didn't come home. It is absolutely beautiful there. I would like to go back for about a month, cruise the Inside Passage, then go in state and just drive. We camped beside a random railroad track one night in view of Denali (Mt. McKinley), and I will never forget waking up, walking out of that tent and seeing that thing. Awesome way to start a day.

I've been wanting to go to Alaska for some time now. The closest I have gotten was Vancouver a week ago. Awesome pictures!!

1-3: Hatcher's Pass (old deteriorating mine)
4: Glacier (notice the blue)
5: Rookery (home to a bunch of birds)
