Airflow Logistics AFC dyno results

So, would this unit, by some strange strike of fate that is unbeknownst to me, allow me to switch to a dedicated MAP signal as input, and still output to the ECU? =) I'm SO in, either way, but if it can allow me to switch to MAP... Well, hell!

From what I understand this device does not measure A/F ratios at all. It will take some kind of input, like MAF and maybe rpm or something, then check those in a table or "map" to determine how much fuel to give. Depending on what you have done to your car, they might develop a map that would suit you, and in that case, if you aren't planning on doing other mods, then you could probably do ok without a wideband.

But if you plan on changing the settings of the map, you are going to need to see the results of your changes to make sure everything is set properly, hence you need a wideband.

I heard someone mention eliminating fuel cut, will this do that?

Also, you will be making MAPs for high psi applications, correct? Would the same 12psi MAPs still work for someone with few mods, like maybe a CAI and DP, and a 12psi MAP for someone running a heavily modded MSP with FMIC, CAI, TB Exhaust, etc? Or, will it vary so much that you'd have to fine tune it yourself? I'm talking about the base MAP.

Edit: I'm a super tuning noob.

He said to me that he plans on having maps like that. So you can say hey I want a map that has x psi and I have a FMIC and a new DP. And he'll have a more effecient map for you. He said he'd have more maps by X-Mas I think in a post above so he's starting on that soon.

This is just too awesome. I always wanted an A/F controller that I didn't have to tune myself. Not that I wouldn't want to do it, I just don't know how, and it seems like it takes a while to learn. I think it'd be cool to tell him my specific setup and the amount of boost I'd like to run and have it all work out fine.

So, in theory, I'd be able to run 15psi safely with the A/F controller and a MAP from DSM for 15psi with my mods?

How many MAPs can it support? Like, can you switch between 2, or will it only support one?

lol They should have different prices for different people. If you have a wife, kid and house that needs a new furnace you should get a discount.
