Ok these problems are not affecting the way my car is running, just concern me a bit. I will start off with the first problem.
1. My turbo seems to be real loud, I know it is normal to hear the turbo spool especially since I have no cats or resonators. It just seems loud the damn thing hisses (or sounds like air escaping a tire), I know people can hear it outside the car but its louder when its cold outside. When I am accelerating i can hear it but when I start cruising it goes away. The turbo does have a little oil at the bottom of it whenever I change the oil but its never enough to actually drip on the ground. It just looks like an oil nipple on the bottom. I have an ATP WGA and when I get it, it tops out at around 8 and tapers to 7.5-7 but holds fine and feels great. Just want to know if my turbo may be getting ready to s*** the bed.
2. Ok number two my car is catless and smells like ass (I know this is normal). But is it normal to sometimes smell it in the car when I have the vents open and air circualting inside the car from the outside? I mean its not strong but when I push her you can smell a little bit of it inside the car.
3. When I drive my car hard let it idle turn it off and then turn it on shortly after the boost/vac gauge reads flat out 0. If this were actually the case I know my car would stall. I even bought a new boost gauge but it does the same thing. This start until I got my 626 Manifold put on. The vac lines have been checked and re-checked by the guy who put it on and everything seems on the up and up. After driving for a little while the gauge will read -22. Can anyone give me any ideas
-Sorry for the long post but I just needed some answers
Thanks everyone
Chris
