I just logged into my hotmail account and see that they finally upped me from my old 2MB account to 250! About goddamn time!

It's cause Yahoo just did theirs a couple months back, I bet!
I went 10MB to 100MB, but 2 to 250? Damn! (2thumbs)

Really? I went from 5 to 100.

Honestly, 2MB has been sorry all along. It was also 2MB back in 1997. They should have upgraded long ago. Don't expect another upgrade until 2019.

Yeah but Gmail does not require me to have google as my ISP.
Details details.... I get DSL service for $25/month from SBC; 1.5MBps down, 128K up. For me $25/month is worth it. I used to pay $50/month for the same DSL service, with a smaller mailbox. I did have Yahoo as my free email account prior to DSL service.

I get 3 Mbps down, 256 kbps up with Comcast and pay around twice as much as you do for twice the speed hehe. I have no clue what comcast's mailbox size is and frankly I could care less since I don't like having to change emails should I ever change providers.
That's pretty damn sweet. [Un]fortunately SBC is the only game in my town for DSL. High-speed cable sucks since it's a shared medium. I used to have Cox high speed internet. When I complained to them about the crappy speeds they replied, "Oh well the advertised speeds are only for our own network". So if I wanted to access one of their servers, I should have gotten the advertised speeds (which I still didnt). I ditched them as soon as I could. SBC has been pretty good by me - no complaints. And now with a 2GB mailbox, the deal is that much sweeter.
