I don't care, I love it ! maybe it's the color or the sense of speed I get from the side profile, but wow I love it!

It looks kinda familiar though.. is it based off some euro Ford chassis?

I wish they had brought the current gen 2 over to north america.. it's.. soo good

it definitely has some "flow" goin on.. no more extremely clean but plain designs like the 6 (which I friggin love still.. not the MS6 or the 06+ models, the earlier ones with sport appearance package, especially the hatch or wagon zomg wow), the new 2 has some nice flowing curves to it.

I'm excited. I could totally see this being my next daily driver, the Protege5 is too big for my needs

Looks kinda cool. I'd like to see it in a different color. and maybe a Mazdaspeed concept. I think it looks better than the fit, the Yaris and FAR better looking than the Versa. I mean who could think that this thing looks like a versa? Look again!

If I were made to choose between a Yaris, Versa, Fit, or Mazda2... I'd take the 2 in a heartbeat. Very cool, love the front-end...

With a larger rim and tire package, a nice aero package and some subtle side skirts, I could see the 2 looking VERY nice. the basic shape is pretty nice to begin with.

Seriously, Mazda need to sell this here to complete with Honda Fit, Toyota Yaris, Nissan Versa, and the various GM/Suzuki/Kia/Scion sub compact segment.

You will need to look at the Fit again.
I mean, that car is really something regardless of it's size.
Honda didn't go cheap on making it.

Entgegen dem allgemeinen Trend ist er leichter und kompakter als sein Vorgnger. Der etwa 3,88 Meter lange und etwa 1,69 Meter breite neue Mazda2 bietet aber zugleich mehr Sicherheit, Fahrspa sowie ein charismatischeres Design und das bei geringerem Benzinverbrauch. Damit hat er auch in der aktuellen Diskussion um Kraftstoffverbrauch und CO2-Emission die Nase vorn.

Beim neuen Mazda2 handelt es sich nicht um einen einfachen Modellwechsel, sondern um das erste Produkt einer weiterentwickelten Generation von Mazda Automobilen. Diese neue Generation fhrt den Zoom-Zoom-Gedanken weiter fort, der erstmalig 2002 mit dem Mazda6 eingefhrt wurde.
