I don't think they have a say in whether they bring it over or not. Although I wouldn't be surprised if they did. Mazda2 would be bad news for the Fiesta.

they need to stop coming out with these extremely proprietary center consoles where the consumer would not have the option of being able to replace/upgrade the radio or add a 3rd party navigation system. it doesn't even look good in this car. not a very advanced/modern look

I do know Ford will be using this platform for a Fit, Yaris, Scion, and Aveo competitior. I would think Mazda would bring it here as well.
