12w6v2 with 500.1

Yeah Craig's a showoff with his big 1000 watt amp and his TWO subwoofers and that ugly guard dog for an avatar. How are we supposed to compete with that?! I'm writing a strongly worded letter to his mother.

You forgot the 2 Jl 300/2's the 4 XR 6.5" midbass drivers and the set of XR 5.25" components. Oh and the XR 5.25" mids

Oops 300/4 too.

Ah s*** I forgot about the 2 sets of VR compnents.
It hink thats it...

Ah damn, forgot about the 12W0.
Ok thats all, I think :D

I wan't counting that stuff but you can add several bulk pack of dynomat extream and an optima yellow top battery.

::in monotone voice::

All hail King Craig...He is the master of his universe.

....We are not worthy to listen to the music coming from his speakers...

May his head be crowned with gold 8 guage cable and may he be robed in Dynomat....

Yes, and we walk in the garden of your turbulence!

By the way Craig, since I have you here I have a problem. I don't want to thread jack, but seeing as I have your attention I'll ask you. I have some sort of buzzing sound coming from my stock tweeters. It doesn't sound like distortion from the tweeter, it sounds like the actual tweeter housing is vibrating. It's not always at high volume levels, but it really annoys me. Any thoughts?

Anyone wnat to help out with the amp settings. It sounds pretty good right now but I know it can sound much better. Its in the sealed box that JL reccomends. (sorry about the typing. Its pretty hard to type wearing a gas mask)

Maybe he's been spending every dime on his car so his water got turned off and now he can't take any showers. He smells like McDonald's mixed with BO and motor oil. I'd wear a mask too.

I'll try my best, but you can only adjust it to your own likings. On the back of the amp there a Infrasonic EQ, I would set the switch at around 23 hz, this way you won't be playing notes you can't hear. Make sure that the mode switch is turned to on. You can hear notes only down to 20hz, I'd set it on 23 to be on the safe side. (Just Guestimate)

Next- You should now adjust the Bass Boost, on the back of the amp is says Boost (dB). I hope this isn't turned all the way up, if it is, then it sounds like s*** I'm sure. I'd turn it to about +8 or so, give or take a few notches, set it to your liking...but please don't turn it to +15.

Next-You should see a Bass EQ Switch, turn it on.. then Where it says "Q"...turn to about 1.1

Next-There is a switch on the left side of the amp, called Filter Slope, I keep it on 24dB.

I think that just about covers it, if this doesn't sound good to you, at least you know what knobs and switches to change. Be sure and remember what they are set at now, just in case you decide to go back to them for whatever reason. HTH

Thanks alot Ill give that a try. Oh yeah, about the gasmask, I'm in the military and were in an exercise. I guess that might have sounded a little weird.

Does the noise increase with the cars rpms while driving?

No it doesn't seem to. It sounds just like the bass from the music is vibrating the housing of the tweeter. It's not real real loud but it's definitely there.
