The Canadian one is even worse because of all those bloody tubes! It's worth it though, for the peace of mind that I know that the rest of the car will rust away before that valve fails again :)

Just finished drilling a couple holes, tapping and plugging in the bottom of my bell housing so I can now reinstall and get the the MBSP bolts in the rear main seal housing. What a nightmare.... but it's done and the tranny can go back on. Turbo install is moving forward. At a snails pace I might add but it's moving.

dont buy ebay parts... my header now has stress cracks all overz. I already welded a massive crack shut and now this s*** happens? should I just weld the entire thing hahaha

Not to sound like a dick, but are you surprised?

Grounds are fun for stuff like that. Definitely check them all.

Not me...just talked to a local audio shop and dropping the car off next Friday to have them look. Shipping the kit back today so now I just have to sit back and see if the company will make good on the repairs...if the kit is deemed 'bad'.

Jeff, have you been hanging around with some vw guys?

lmao...well my neighbor's son is a vdub guy and at times there can be 10 of them on the block...s***! :)

^^^ Boo. But now I want a calzone... om-nom-nom.

Jeff, hope you can find the source of your VW problem, mate.

Thanks Evan and appears to be a ground problem somewhere. Hoping that it won't cost too much to fix... For now this is how I roll (one stock bulb, one silverstar bulb and hi-beams for 'drls'...lol)

drove it! HELL YES, the tune needs a little work under boost, pretty much pegs to 10 above 3psi, but thats fine with me, just happy to have my car back on the road

has any one redid there head lights from 2 bulbs to one for both high and low need help ty

In order to do that, you would have to swap to the sedan head lights and have the connector/adapter for it. Ask anyone that has the Matt V retrofits, they have those going now. I'm waiting on mine and other goodies to come in the mail, then the great install day will happen.

Anyway, I drove the hell out of the car today and need to fill up soon, about 1/4 tank left, looking at about 420 miles this tank from full (50 miles one way too and from Amy's job, she's taking the car for now until I find work... and yes, all highway miles)
