I was wondering if all of the MSP's came with a pinstripe?

Mine did, but when I first saw them at the dealer none of them had them on it then everyone had them. This was at both dealers too.

I have a titanium and it has a white pinstripe, I kinda like the pinstripe.

I kinda like mine. I got a black mica with a spicy orange strip about 2/3 down the door. On the back back doors it has mazdaspeed in white lettering.

Dealer installed pinstriping normally looks cheap and out of place, but those stripes are the one exemption. They look VERY nice.

dont dealers usually charge extra for pinstripping? They did not charge extra on this car it just came that way. When I went to buy my 03 accord v6 they wanted like 500 for the pinstripping and I was like no, just got one without it.

Mine is not as nice as that on the black though. I really would have liked something like that more.

This dealer tinted the windows and did the pinstripe as a package for 200. I had a choice between that or a nontinted nopinstripe and I figured it was just easier to buy it as a package.

WTF I've been here this long and this is the first I've heard of this! LOL, I read the subject and immediately thought BLAGH but I must say that pic of the black one looks sweet. I kind of want a black strip on my spicy orange now. I think what makes it look good is the fact that it's so small and thin.

When I bought mine, it said on the window sticker that pinstriping was included, however there was no pinstriping on the car yet, it had been sitting in one of the garage bays in the service shop for 4 days until we had financing avaliable. My dealer told me that he thought the car wouldn't look good with it so he didn't let them put it on yet. He told me that if I wanted it at any time while I owned the car, just let him know and he would take care of it.

haha!
when i bought mine, the windows were tinted and they were asking $295 for the tint...........
i told them to take it off cause i "did not" want tint on my car and wasnt gonna pay for it.
it was the only orange MSP they had, so they ended up giving me the tint for free :D

The pinstriping on the black seems to fit so well....usually not the case with pinstriping....LOVE the mazdaspeed logo on the back door...."me thinks you may have started something"

yeah I'll say, that looks pretty nice there beans :) I wonder what colors would look good on my titanium speed :) *ponders*

Can you post a pic of JUST the rear door so it's close up. Beans and Jaymode for sure and other MSP "close ups" (all colors) for comparison. I (we) would appreciate it.

Here's mine,

I no longer have the Mazda stickers in the back window. Looked too cluttered. I'm pretty happy with them though.

I love the black speed's stripes though. It looks great with the mazdaspeed logo on the doors.

Oh Wait a minute, I have to hate it cuz your from Pittsburgh. LOL

LOL PMpkinhead,

It's ok cause I'm not a steelers fan. I really don't even like football. I'm a hockey guy. And thanks for the comps on my stripes. i'm pretty much done with cosmetic stuff thouhg. Now it's time to save up for the good stuff. Still want to get a clutch and flywheel, and eventually a big brake kit.

I like the orange with the black - I have a large roll of very thin orange double striping, may use a single stripe on the molding but haven't decided yet... that's why I got the decal striping. If I like it, it can stay or I can have it painted; if I don't like it, a little hair dryer work and some wax and we're good as new.

BTW, there's a pinhead (industry nickname for a "real" - paint - pinstriper) named Jeff near me who does work for several dealers. He's VERY good, will do custom work. He did our van and I've seen some of his other OE work - excellent. His custom work is even better, anything from conservative to street rod. I'll get his email or web address and post later.
