2013 CX-9 CEL with P068A obd2 code (3.7L)

:
2013 CX-9 AWD
Hey folks, wondering if anybody's seen this code before. This has come up and triggered the engine light twice in 2 weeks time. No noticeable performance effects yet. A couple facts: battery is ~5Y old but resting 12.5V and under alternator about 14.2V. I do have to clean the green corrosion of the (+) Red battery cable from time to time. I pulled out the Denso AJ51 PCM/ECM relays from the small relay/fuse box near the battery and re-seated them. Compatible ones are common and available at any auto parts store.

Thinking I will replace the battery and relays first, then the alternator& belt if that doesn't fix it. This seems to surface in Fords as well, both 3.7 and other engines but it's kinda oddball fault code. Lightly dirven 2013 CX9 GT AWD w/79k miles regularly maintained. Let me know if you've had this one and what the fix was.

Solution
Just an update to my OP since it's been a month- I cleaned the battery leads, replaced the battery and the main PCM relay. Fault has not tripped since, so appears the battery was unstable and likely the problem.
